We are from Weybridge and used to come to the Minnow quite often, but as the quality of food had deteriorated we stopped coming. Today we decided to try it again, for the soul music. We booked a dog friendly area for a pleasant lunch but were given a small table in the bar area with a stool and bar service!! - when we asked for a chair we encountered a rude staff (front of house) stating that we had booked the bar area!! We had to wait some time for our fish &amp; chips - after asking how long it would take to get the food we were told &#39;it comes when it comes&#39;. We had the feeling that customers are seen as a nuisance. We eventually received the food after 45 minutes. Unfortunately it was not worth the wait because it was quite mediocre!! The chips were soaked by the fat dripping from the fish. The whole experience was really disappointing.

My son had the dirty burger - for the price, it could have been a lot bigger and he wasn&#39;t particularly impressed by the quality either! I had pork roast and was a bit disappointed to find out it was pork belly slices and not from a piece of pork! The rest of it was quite tasty, nice selection of veg

Food, service and venue were great. Only slight disappointment was they had run out of milk so my poor old mum couldn&#39;t have a coffee ( there&#39;s a garage across the the road!)Only other thing that slightly annoyed me was people using the fire door to go outside and let it slam shut... not a buggy but just commonsense 🤔Would definitely go back though 👍

Today I thought o would try their Pie. It was a choice of roast beef, vegetable wellington or the pie! I am really glad I chose the pie. An enormous puff pastry lid with an absolutely delicious beef and ale inner. Must be one if the best pies I have ever eaten. Really tender. Loved it

It was packed and yet still we got attentive service with a smile from Ollie and the team. Great food too, I would definitely recommend it to everyone.

Fairly limited menu with too many fish dishes. Some items not available - but that seems par for the course with a number of restaurants due to circumstances beyond their control. However this was more than made up by complimentary sweets by the manager. Service was excellent - attentive but not over intrusive. Restaurant was clean and welcoming. Prices and portion size was very good. No complaints whatsoever.

We were so well looked after by Zoe. Our food was delicious. Only disappointment was that the cheeseboard was not as shown on the menu. All in all we were very happy

It was a very calm, warm and cosy restaurant, waiting staff were attentive and food was great! Allergen info is good and accommodating, as are any small change requests.

Very busy but super-attentive staff. Lovely roast dinner, and not pushed to leave when finished eating. Staff always around to catch attention, and everything clean and tidy.Looking forward to go again!
